I Was In a Magazine! #muumuumonth

I was told by a friend today that they saw a picture of me in my holokū in Honolulu Magazine. I jumped online and there it was. Read Article Here! The article was about the lovely (now annual) Muʻu at the Museum event held at Queen Emmaʻs Summer Palace and hosted by the Daughters of Hawaiʻi. I always have a lovely time at this event. The evening is spent talking with everyone, all of which share my love for Hawaiian fashion, touring the grounds, and seeing the lovely work of the local fashion designers on display. This year there was a fashion contest and I won! I won the “handmade” category. I canʻt wait to see what next year will bring.
